States:-

I have worked six months on the above junk.

The master is FAN YING.

At about 13.00 hours on 4.5.38, the junk was

sailing off MAN SHAN when a junk was observed some distance

flying a distress signal.

My master with two fokis named HO SHAP and

The Junk

SHEK KWU LO and myself went alongside in our sampan. There were two Chinese women on the deck calling "Save life". appeared to have been on fire. My master, FAN YING was the only one to board the burnt junk and the two women were rescued and taken to Hong Kong which was reached on the next day.

My master told me afterwards that he had seen

several dead bodies on the burnt junk.
